Australian Ford Landau

My car of the moment is the Aussie 70s muscle car the Ford Landau, a premium version of Ford's Falcon and Fairmont coupe. The ones that have been given nice and simple after-market alloys really look the part. They don't seem to come up for sale too often as they were much rarer than the common Falcon coupe, which in great quality come with very high price-tags. I love the covered/flip headlights.

More Aussie Muscle here.

Manual Designs Auto Prints

Wow, I would love some of these stencil prints. They're made by Christopher Holewski at Manual Designs and you can either buy one ready-made of have your own car turned into an artwork.

Back to the Future DeLorean

Great Scott!

Gez Lloyd saw this sight while cycling home through North London. It's not everyday you see one of these, especially on the road. I'm not surprised this one's on a trailer.

Car and Driver's 12 Most Significant Cars Ever

Check out these two countdown videos from Car and Driver magazine. I saw the top one featured on The Awesomer and the host Harley Morenstein is great. Here's two videos for you. Enjoy.

Mario Balotelli's Cars

Premier League footballers have questionable taste at the best of times but soccer's most unlikable talent, Mario Balotelli, has given the public two more reasons to dislike him. The first is a gold vinyl wrapped Evoque and the other is a camouflaged Bentley disaster. I can't believe Bentley hasn't banned footballers from buying their cars. Although, admittedly, I don't know who else buys them!

Land Rover Australia

In the final instalment of our recent Australian holiday, here are some pics of our evening at Allambie Farm outside of Parkes, NSW. A modern Landrover is a rare sight in regional Australia and you're much more likely to see a Toyota Landcruiser, Hilux, or a Nissan Patrol. And in keeping with this, this particular Discovery is normally restricted to the long straight roads and myriad roundabouts of Canberra, ACT but it was having a farm holiday too!

Trivia: New South Welshman call Canberrans "Yogies" because all their license plates begin with Y, as above. A further example of the New South Welsh wit is that people from the State of Victoria (Victorians) are called "Mexicans" as in, they're south of the border from NSW!

Bond Cars, Evans Halshaw

This is a really interesting and good looking site for any fan of Bond. It has lots of trivia and you can also download your favourites as wallpapers. Check it out here.

Cardok Underground Car Storage

This looks amazing but I do wonder if it would be hard to live with.

Inflatable Car Bed

I want one! Check it out here.

Classic Throttle Shop, Sydney.

One of my favourite places to visit in Sydney is the Classic Throttle Shop which is like an art gallery, toyshop and museum all rolled into one. It's right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge so is a great place to catch your breath after a stroll over the 'coat-hanger'.

Ford Cobra, Parkes NSW

This is Brian Hogan's Cobra which is proudly displayed in the showroom of his tyre business, Telescope Tyres in Parkes, NSW.

Update: Maybe Brian Hogan can buy himself this too!

1964 Cadillac Deville, Parkes NSW

My Wife Susannah and I have just returned from two weeks down under in Australia and some of the sights certainly didn't disappoint. My hometown is home of the Parkes Elvis Festival and naturally, there are a few stunning machines which Elvis would be proud to be seen in.

This is Brendan Davis's stunning 1964 pillarless Caddy Deville.
