Volvo Trucks Casino Prank
This is great! Just imagine the stress of doing this job in real life. How about scratching a Ferrari on your way to the car park while trying to work out the clutch and gears. Yikes!
Daria Radionova's Swarovsky-encrusted Mercedes-Benz
We all know the children of Russian Oligarchs love to call London home, where they perhaps don't need quite so many bodyguards bullet-proof glass. However this is ostentatious even by the young, rich Ruskis' standard.
Like something out of a Bond movie, 21 year old student Daria Radionova began turning even more heads by parading around London in a Mercedes-Benz CLS350 covered in Swarovsky crystals. She flew 2 Russian men over and they worked 12 hours a day for 2 months to create the look!

The car may not look overly special by day...
But the Benz certainly makes an impression as nightfalls...
Word on the street is she's had so much attention after the press got a hold of the pics that she's decided to sell the car. To another wallflower, one would imagine!

Gold-leaf Lamborghini Aventador
You will have read about Gulfies in my previous posts, the filthy rich young men from the Gulf states who bring their supercars to Western Europe or the UK for the Summer months. Check out this Lambo, not just gold coloured wrapped but actual golf-leaf wrapped.
Here's a clip of it driving around Paris, much to the delight of carspotters.

Johnny Cash's 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow LWB.
I bought a man a car, just to watch him drive.
Maybe that was too much of a Johnny Cash stretch BUT check out The Man In Black's black-on-black Silver Shadow. It's up for auction with no reserve.

Rolls Royce Pick Up Trucks
Imagine having a Roller ute! It would be a real head-turner. I would imagine the upkeep might be slightly more costly than a regular old Hilux! These are all custom creations. No utility versions were ever factory built. I can't imagine one of these with spotties and pig hunting dog cages, thankfully!
Below: A 4X4 dual-cab version with drop down wooden tray.
Below: Note the custom metal bodywork hard tonneau.
Below: The've brought the rear pillar windscreen forward to keep the natural line of a Roller. Note the petrol cap still intact!

Ford Falcon Fever
I'm a big fan of classics and while I err towards the Continental offerings, I love a bit of US and Aussie muscle. Here's some Ford Falcons for sale at the moment with eye-watering prices to illustrate that the money is still there for great examples. The GTHO Phase III is clearly still the most valuable but I wonder if that will always be the case after a price drop from the $800,000s a few years back.

Here's another Ford post I did. This time on the underrated Landau.

Backroadz Truck Tent
This is called a Backroadz "Truck" Tent. Sounds a bit better than Ute Tent I guess. I wonder if this will become the new thing at B&S Balls around the Aussie countryside? You can buy one here.

Car Pooling
What is it with people turning cars into pools?! I heard from a customer at A.A.Blatch that they enjoyed reading about the Cadillac Biarritz "Hot-tub Caddy" pictured below.
So here's a story about a couple of young American engineering students who've turned a '69 Cadillac Coupe DeVille into a pool on wheels. You might be thinking what I am. Some people have too much time and too much money. Click here to read about their project.
And while we're on on the topic of making car pools:
They're doing it right...
Aaaaaaand they're doing it wrong...
Jaguar: From C-Type to F-Type
Here's one for the Jaguar fans. What's the old joke I always hear? "Did you know Jags come with 6 stereo speakers? Yep, 2 in the front, 2 in the back and 2 underneath the car for the mechanic."

Holden Hands
Check out this incredible time-warp Holden EK Station Wagon for auction at the 2014 Shannon's Melbourne Winter Auction. It has a guide price of $28k-$34k and has only had two owners since new. I think this would fit in nicely at the Parkes Elvis Festival with all the other 50s and 60s cars. Check out the full listing here.

Mantra Surf Wagon
This photo of a surf wagon was taken by Warren Blatch on holiday last week in Queensland.
Reminds me of the jingle...where else but Queensland?

Queen Elizabeth and an ode to Land Rover
Prince Charles is famously fanatical about Astons and Bentley, William and Harry love their Audis but Queen Elizabeth II is a huge and loyal Land Rover fan. Here is a few pics to demonstrate the Royal family's devotion to the marque.

Note the dog bonnet ornament highlighting another of her passions.

Don't worry, Prince William makes up for it with the young Windsors' epic 2013 Range Rover Vogue.
