Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz For Sale

I'm speechless. Just when I thought this Caddy couldn't get any more amazing/ zany/ thunderbirds/ mental, I saw the photo with the hot tub. I think it would be amazing for that one moment when you can show all your mates and have a huge laugh. But to own it, drive it and try and park it? No thanks. For AUS$24k, this one could be yours. I've tried researching this one-off vehicle but am coming up with nothing. If anyone has any more info on this custom car, please leave a comment below.

UPDATE 03/02/2014: Shannon's have now uploaded information on the car. It seems it was a Texas registered car until it came to Oz in the 80s or 90s before being reconditioned in 1999.

2014 Porsche 911 Targa

I wouldn't call myself a Porsche man but I love the line of this new model. Read all about it here.

Unlike the original model though (below), the new one's roof panel retracts automatically.

After seeing the parade I've started dreaming about this car for sale. Alas...it's ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

Next time on Exhaust Pipe Dreams...

I'll post my pics of the magnificent machines of the 2014 Parkes Elvis Festival. To whet your appetite, here is a fantastic fourth generation Cadillac Coupe de Ville that pulled up outside A.A.Blatch. There'll be more to come.

Porsche Design Tower, Florida

Don't you hate it when you have to park your Porsche in the underground car park and then you have to get the lift all the way up to the penthouse? Well turn that frown upside down because Porsche has come up with an idea to make life for multi-millionaires easier. This 60 floor tower will feature glass lifts to take take you and your Porsche from street level straight up to your floor. The flats range from US$4m to over US$32m so, like, plenty of choices there.

The Porsche team are a bit late with this though. Check out the Hamilton Scotts Apartments in Singapore:

Ecurie Ecosse Collection sells for £8.8million

Dick Skipworth's collection of team 'Ecurie Ecosse' vehicles has sold in the UK for £8.8m. The Scottish team won two consecutive Le Mans 24hr races in 1956 and 1957. The huge surprise on the day was the 1960 Commer TS3 transporter with a two-stroke engine which sold for £1.8m (over $AU3.2m or just a touch under $US3m). The transporter was made famous thanks to the Corgi scale model of it. After this incredible result, this Commer TS3 has become "the most valuable commercial vehicle ever sold at auction." Big call!

1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider by Scaglietti

Wow! Thank god this is coming up for auction. Chequebook please!

They're asking for between US$7m-$9m. I'd pull out the old "tell 'em they're dreaming" but if RM Auctions has this price guide on it then I'm sure it'll come close at least. Read all the specs here.
