I've just stumbled across this pic which, after googling the 'Foto Fotolab' shop in the background, appears to have been taken in the Czech Republic. I would love to know what it's used for. The Eastern European chairman of the board who needs to take their hedge clippings to the tip on a Sunday?

Don Davis's 1966 FJ40 Land Cruiser.

A few months ago, Don Davis, a wealthy business man from Texas, put up 25 of his 30 cars for auction through the World renowned RM Auctions.

The main reason for posting this is because every second person I meet these days has a Cruiser (or Hilux) so I thought some would appreciate (or gasp) at this.

This is Davis's mint-condition 1966 FJ40 Land Cruiser and for anyone who has one rusting away in the back shed, this one went for US$88,000.

Some of the other cars that went at the auction, pocketing Davis US$21.2million, are this 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS which sold for US$1,936,000.

And with Toyota being the name of the day, here is the 1967 2000GT which sold for US$1,237,000.
